Kinser Park Golf Course is a Public 9 hole golf course located in Greeneville, Tennessee.

Kinser Park Golf Course first opened for play in 1978.

The terrain is hilly, and water comes into play on two holes.  

The most difficult hole is #8, a 530-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot down a steep hill, then a left to right approach shot to the green.

Men and women share the same tee boxes. The course plays to a 9-hole par of 36 and measures 2,930 yards.

The course came to an unceremonious end in October 2012 when Kinser Park Commission voted against renewing its lease with then-golf course Manager Gary Ricker. Reading transcripts of the meeting lead you to believe that poor record keeping of rounds sold, {the basis for lease payments) complaints of course maintenance, decreasing rounds being played, and a lack of regular communications between the course manager and the Park Commission let to the closure.
